Career Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting a Financial Analyst (m/f) for our Luxembourg office. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation and be at the heart of the growth strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO, Head of M&A and CBPE team to support and develop financial analysis of the business and potential acquisition targets.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and have a flexible approach to their work. They will be experienced in preparing financial analysis and reports that are ‘client ready’ for presentation to the Board or M&A committee. They will be comfortable working as part of a team, as well as working independently and in leading working sessions with members of the business and with the management teams of potential acquisition opportunities.

 

Within a young and international working environment, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report on financial performance, perform variance analysis, identify trends, make recommendations for further analysis, and help form key conclusions and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain operational metrics and KPI dashboards
  • Create and develop financial models and forecasts
  • Work closely with the CFO and Head of M&A to produce analysis and reports to support annual budgeting, key investment decisions, M&A acquisitions etc.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • The person will be part of the finance team reporting to the CFO.


Your skills:

  • Minimum 4 years relevant professional experience 
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Additional European languages are a benefit
  • Strong knowledge in Excel. Familiarity with data analytics (Excel pivot tables, Power BI, Tableau etc.) a benefit
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Flexibility, pro-activity, presentable with can do attitude
  • Strong motivation to work in a fast growing, dynamic and challenging environment
